I did a bit of work on the New York loft apartment. I tore the carpet out and glued it directly to the floor rather than to cardboard. It looks so much better now! I also made and filled the black corner shelf. That space just seemed bare.The shelf was made with a thin sheet 3 inch wide wood. I scored it down the center and folded it into the corner shape. The shelves are woodsie triangles. I used skinny sticks for the shelf supports and for the trim at the base of each shelf. Quick, easy and it looks good, too. :)
