My gifts have found a home

Kate is quite happy with her new chair and side table. She says the chair is very comfortable. ;) The candle stands and little deer statue on the mantle are new, too. The coffee table got a new paint job to coordinate better with the new items. It was antique gold - now it's an aged cream finish with some of the gold showing through.
The bird cage fits beautifully on the table I won in Ingrid's blog give-away last summer. And aren't those hydrangeas amazing?

I love the way everything fits into this house. Magnolia Way is one of my favorite dollhouses partly because it holds so many of my favorite gifts from miniaturists around the world. Thanks again, Peggy!

I am so excited! I was just looking over everyone's blogs and look what I found - I won Peggy's giveaway at Another Cosy Cottage! Everything is so beautiful - I'm doing the happy dance today. :)

The prizes

The 1:12 scale sofa is a traditional style with exposed wooden legs. The fabric is a pretty green and white fruit stripe. There is also a pillar candle on a gold pedestal stand for the coffee table. It wasn't dry and I couldn't wait to take the photo, lol.

The 1:24 scale sofa is also traditionally styled with bun feet and a fringed skirt. The mini checked fabric is burgundy and white. The pillows and afghan are attached. The white pillar candle rests in a silver holder.

Both coffee tables have hand carved legs. The pillar candles both look as though they have been burned with a blackened wick and drips of wax. All items were completely handcrafted by me.
