It's the little things

Although my daughter thinks I'm a bit weird for even thinking of this, I think the added detail of family photos using the actual dolls really adds a lot to the coziness of the home.
My husband put tiny little canvas boards in my stocking. I glued on miniaturized prints that I found online. They turned out really well.

De,
I actually love the idea of pictures of the actual dolls that live there! I've been wanting to do this in my dollhouses but haven't yet, mostly because it involves figuring out how to reduce it and all that jazz, which can frustrate me sometimes;-) Any ways good job!

Thank you, Teresa! My favorite details are the ones that make the dollhouse feel like a real home and I think photos are a big part of that. Reducing the size isn't too difficult using Word or a card making program.

I absolutely adore that house. It's just so sweet and it has that "home sweet home look" about it. Using the dolls who live in the house as pics is a great idea. I love your choice of wallpaper.

Thank you, Lucille! I was very fortunate in that this shell (and the rest of the kit) came with multiple wallpapers and the "iron" pieces. Also, the living room and part of the kitchen were already plastered. I just had to paint. So many goodies for $8!
