Meet Emily

Yesterday I made the rounds of the big city fabric stores (big city for Indiana anyway, lol). I found this beautiful gray fabric in the clearance bin and knew it was going to be a Victorian lady's walking suit.
I sculpted and dressed Emily (and a Santa) this afternoon.
Back details.
I love her auburn hair and the way the hat turned out. I'm going to list her in my zibbet shop but I'm really tempted to keep her for one of my Victorian houses or the general store. Maybe she'll visit while she's waiting for a buyer. ;)

She's a DOLL!!!! ;)
i love the red hair, and the SUIT is SO cute!(in a very feminine, refined, classy sort of way)
i am amazed yet again.(and you may know that i am quite partial to redheads, having three of them in varying shades who live here!)

Thank you, April!

I am a bit envious of your redheads, lol. My middle was born with dark auburn hair but it turned blond. Now's she's got dark strawberry blond hair with auburn highlights but not the deep auburn I was hoping for. :)

Thank you, Kim and Jane. The fabric was very easy to work with. I challenged myself on her suit and hat and I have to say I'm rather proud of the results. :)

Thanks, Katie! Still waiting for word on the suitcases. Tracking shows the sample arrived at their office but they had to show the client. Fingers crossed. :)
