A tisket, a tasket, I made a new basket

Thanks to Kris at 1 Inch Minis. I made this beautiful basket from her tutorial. I will be making more of these!

Sail boats by Mercedes of Liberty Biberty; handpainted pillow and shelf by Sandy Copeland; candles by Gaye of My Small Obsession; painting by Joan. Everything else in the photo was made or adapted by me.

Thank you!

Kathi, to simplify things a bit I used stain markers instead of liquid stain. I'm not very patient and this way I didn't have to wait for the stain to dry. :)

Great idea De! I'll have to look for those markers. Love the effect you did on your basket. It really looks like wood!

I got mine in a 3 pack at Wal-mart. They were in the paint/hardware dept. They are meant for hiding scratches in furniture but they are perfect for staining small minis.

looks fabulous De- and I'm thinking that I need a stain marker now- never thought about how useful they would be for minis! Great tip!!!
