This Halloween hutch is outfitted for a witch. There are potions, spell books, herbs in the basket, a cauldron bubbling over, a black cat, bones in the urn on the bottom shelf, a skull, and a picture of Great Aunt Minerva for inspiration.
Thank you! Believe it or not, the cat started life as a blue plastic bead. I didn't even fill the holes, just painted inside the holes when I painted the outside. It's turned in such a way that the holes are obvious.
Thank you, Doreen, for the comments about the hutch and my new picture. I didn't paint that fabric. It was just a very lucky find in my scrap drawer. :-)
I've been happily married for 33 years to my high school sweetheart and we have three great kids. All are young adults. I'm currently working part time as an instructional assistant at the local elementary school. My mini life is especially important to me because it takes me away (better than a bubble bath!) from the stresses of real life. I've been involved with mini-ing since the late 1980s with a break for about 10 years while my children were young.
My faith and my family are very important to me. I am so thankful that God blessed me with the gift of creativity!

I really like your hutch. That is a good idea for filling in the doors. Did you paint that material? By the way I like your new picture.
