So here's the first thing...

This Halloween hutch is outfitted for a witch. There are potions, spell books, herbs in the basket, a cauldron bubbling over, a black cat, bones in the urn on the bottom shelf, a skull, and a picture of Great Aunt Minerva for inspiration.

Love the paint job on the cabinet! and love the contents too==lovely job! I especially like the black cat.

Thank you! Believe it or not, the cat started life as a blue plastic bead. I didn't even fill the holes, just painted inside the holes when I painted the outside. It's turned in such a way that the holes are obvious.

I really like your hutch. That is a good idea for filling in the doors. Did you paint that material? By the way I like your new picture.

Thank you, Doreen, for the comments about the hutch and my new picture. I didn't paint that fabric. It was just a very lucky find in my scrap drawer. :-)
