Wallpaper preview

I've printed off all of the papers and sealed them and thought you all might like to see a preview.

The living room walls have a subtle cream and beige stripe and I think I'm going to make a rug from the real sized wallpaper sample shown. It has all of the colors that will be throughout the house and I need to have some red in the living room.

The border for the bathroom is white magnolias on a red background. I'm also planning to use this paper, the border and a red background floral in the bedroom to tie everything together. The floor in here is also a real size wallpaper sample. It's a dark olive marble with burgandy red running through it.

I have a fruit border for the kitchen so that Katie's pineapple dishes will fit in.

The kitchen kit came today but I don't want to get started on the cabinets until the house is built (and it hasn't come yet). I don't know if I will have to make alterations to make things fit.

I am making progress but now I really have to work on some new things for my etsy shop. Back to work...

Your flowers are one of my very favorite minis, Jayne, and I love the way they look on the porch!

A fruit border?! Can't wait to see what that looks like. Love both of the other papers....It's going to look really good when all is said and done!

Thank you! Check this link to see the fruit border - there isn't any pineapple in the border but the colors are perfect with your dishes! http://www.printmini.com/cgi-bin/specialmini.cgi?type=Borders&name=wpf/janetsside.jpg&tall=168&wide=60&row=0&col=0

Oops, the link doesn't work. Just go to www.printmini.com and check out the 1 inch scale borders.

Your wallpaper is so beautiful. How do you choose? I have been sitting in front of a naked dollhouse with a box of beautiful wallpaper and just can't choose! LOL! I find it so limiting in decorating once the wallpaper colors are chosen. Plus if I sell the house, what if the new buyers don't like them? Such a dilemma! LOL!

Hi Heather - I usually have a theme in mind (and I really do mean in my mind and it won't go away until I finish the project!)and I try to coordinate all of the rooms. They don't all have to be the same colors but I like them to flow together. I don't have plans to sell my house collection so I don't worry about that part. My children will have to worry about that some day, lol. BTW, I often print my own wallpaper, either I find what I want at a printables website or I design my own.
